ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 is a standard applied for the accreditation of calibration and testing laboratories.

 

INMETRO, through CGCRE, grants accreditation to laboratories that perform calibration and / or testing services in permanent, mobile and / or customer installations.

 

The accreditation of calibration laboratories is granted for a scope, consisting of groups of calibration services established in the standard NIT-DICLA-012, including services, ranges and better measurement capacity. The accreditation of testing laboratories is granted by testing for a certain product, according to a standard, regulation, resolution or procedure developed by the laboratory in which the methodology used is established. The standard NIT-DICLA-016 establishes the guidelines for the elaboration of the scope.
